Architecturally beautiful and significant, the owners of The Cape Collection have completely reimagined and redesigned the Victorian styled Doctor’s Inn into the Elegant French Country themed estate now known as The Peninsula. The owners, through their very own Interior Design and Build Firm “Evan James Interiors,” have created an oasis of style and comfort, resulting in one of South Jersey’s top boutique hotels. In addition to their own projects, and sister Bed & Breakfast properties, the team has taken on scores of design projects throughout the East Coast. The firm places emphasis on designing spaces that reflect the owners personal and eclectic style.

Carrying through on the philosophy that design is dictated by how elements impact people visually and how people are affected by the functionally of a space, our design mantra is that there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to design, but there are synergies. And those synergies, when in concert, create harmonious and inviting spaces.
